Interested in Joining the Team?

Undergraduate and graduate research assistants are accepted year-round to help with recruitment, data collection, transcription/coding, and qualitative and quantitative analysis while working closely with faculty and peers.

Students often co-author conference submissions and may pursue independent studies or honor theses; multi-semester involvement is encouraged but not required. Graduate students may have the ability to take an independent study with the participation in the lab.

We welcome students from related departments as well: media studies, psychology, sociology, journalism, family studies, english, and political science.
